Chapel Down is producing what it claims is the most expensive bottle of English sparkling wine to go on sale.
Elsewhere, tennis world number one Novak Djokovic has teamed up with Jacob’s Creek to be the subject in one of their “Made By” films.
The “Made By” series is to be released on 13 January 2015 to tie-in with the wine brand’s sponsorship of the Australian Open.
Djokovic’s film focuses on the “people, places and passions” that have made him a world champion. The brand has also collaborated with former world number one and tennis darling Andre Agassi.
And finally – Tarquin’s Gin are taking the personal approach to marketing with each customer getting the opportunity to chat directly with the maker of their gin.
“Taste with Tarquin” allows customers to discuss their spirit with Tarquin Leadbetter, the founder and distiller of Southwestern Distillery, over FaceTime.
This personal touch extends throughout the brand: each bottle is hand-made from hand-sourced botanicals gathered in Devon and labelled with hand-written tasting notes.
