Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s wine is now being sold in UK supermarkets.
The 2014 Miraval Rose, which is produced by the Hollywood stars’ Chateau Miraval estate in Provence, is being sold by Marks & Spencer at £18 a bottle.
The wine has received the thumbs up from critics, with one expert saying “if you were to take the celebrity element out, on tasting it is a good to excellent wine”.
The 2012 vintage was the only rose to make it into Wine Spectator’s 100 wines of the year, while Decanter said it had “a sense of power alongside the elegance … with a delicious mouth-watering finish”.
Although the wine has previously been sold in the UK through specialist retailers, this is the first time it has been available on the high street.
M&S drinks buyer Emma Dawson said: “We’re excited to be launching what could well be the most famous rose in the world.
“Not only does Miraval boast A-lister owners, it’s a really lovely crisp rose, perfect for summer drinking.”
It is not known how closely the Hollywood actors were involved in the production of the wine, but they got married at the estate last year.
Esteemed wine maker Marc Perrin was employed by the couple to oversee the production of their wine.
