Flower cocktails for spring

To mark the beginning of spring, we have rounded up several floral themed cocktails. But don’t let the pretty flowers make you believe that these drinks are any less potent. Daisies can be quite intoxicating.

Lavender martini


1 oz violet liqueur

1 oz gin

1 oz vodka

1/4 oz ginger liqueur

1/4 oz St Germain elderflower liqueur

1 dash Scrappy’s Lavender Bitters



Place all liquids into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well for 30 seconds and pour into a martini glass. Garnish with lavender sprigs.

Daisy cocktail


3 oz Vodka

3/8 oz St Germain elderflower liqueur

3/8 oz lemon juice

1/5 oz apricot preserves



Add all ingredients, other than the flowers, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until ice cold, and double strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with the daisies.

Marigold Muddle


2 oz tequila

1 oz lime juice

3/4 oz triple Sec

5oz light agave nectar

150g chopped cantaloupe

Pinch of Chile de árbol powder



Muddle cantaloupe, agave nectar and triple sec in a shaker. Add ice and remaining ingredients, excluding garnish, and shake for at least 10 seconds. Double strain into a chilled glass, and garnish with the flower.
