Great new Spirits for 2017

By Bring a Bottle on 18/02/17 11:04 AM

We love to hear that there is a newcomer in the world of spirits, wines and beers. After all, the more brands out there offering drinks, the more amazing flavours that we have to sample. So, this is why we have brought to you a blog detailing some of the newest names that are making an appearance this year.

Whether you are a fan of vodka, gin, whiskey, rum or perhaps something a little fruity and fresh. You will be pleased to learn that there is something new and exciting for you to try!

Here are 5 of the best that we have seen being announced of late.

The Dunnage Bakehouse

We love it when two worlds come together, and in the case of The Dunnage Bakehouse we are particularly excited! This newcomer to the world of spirits, is a whiskey with a difference, aged in gin barrels, it brings together the two flavours to create something amazing!

Beinn an Tuirc Kintyre Gin

The world is an eco friendly place, so it wasn’t going to be long before spirits were welcomed into a much greener world. The Beinn au Tuirc gin is created by a sustainable distillery located in the Kintyre Scotland. Only set up in 2016 and powered by crowd funding, they are using local ingredients to create a beautiful and flavoursome gin that any gin fan will be more than happy to sample. Keep an eye out for it coming soon…….

Absolut Lime

Whilst the brand itself isn’t a newcomer in the world of spirits, the flavour most definitely is. There have been a number of different Absolute flavours appearing of late, and this citrus based touch is their latest offering. We think that this will be perfect with lemonade or tonic.

The Virgin Holiday Spirit

There is nothing quite like the feeling of being on holiday, in fact, most of us will at some time have said how you wish that you could bottle it up and take it home. Well, now you may be one step closer to achieving this dream. The Virgin Holiday Spirit is a rum that has been scientifically created. The flavour combination was decided after asking people what reminded them most of being on holiday, leading to a rum that is flavoured with vanilla, cinnamon, allspice and coconut.

Fair Açai

Another big drive of late is to have organic and sustainable ingredients in food and drink. Spirit producers Fair are paving the way for creating delicious drinks that are great for the environment. Their latest offering takes the Acai superberry, giving a flavoursome and fruity drink that is going to be a great addition to any cocktail recipe.

Is this enough to whet your appetite? Why not see if you can pick up one of these latest spirits and try them for yourself. You may be surprised by just how delicious they are, and find yourself a brand new favourite for 2017. Check out our Spirits page to order some of these for yourself.
