It is pedal to the metal as things will be in full throw during London Cocktail Week. Hendrick’s gin have taken this to a literal meaning, and are launching what it claims is the world’s first pedal powered cocktail maker.
The device is called ‘The Boneshaker’, and uses the rotating cycle of wheels to make the mixing motion for creating cocktails. Not only that, it can make six at a time.
The magical machine will be on display at the Hendrick’s Boneshaker Cocktail Bar during London Cocktail Week. Hendrick’s fans will be able to sample the man powered drinks along with low alcohol level beers including the Ramos Gin Fizz.
At the end of each day the gin makers will celebrate by presenting “The No Rush Hour Society”, inviting customers to raise a glass as the clock strikes six for cocktail hour.
Spaces to the event are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis from 6-7pm on Thursday 9th through to Sunday 12th October. Make sure you have a wristband for the event to be able to enter, which are available online.
The Hendrick’s Boneshaker Bar will be open Thursday 9th- Sunday 12th from 13:00-21:00pm in Brooks B1886 Store, 36 Earlham Street, WC2H 9LH.
