The annual prestigious wine tasting event, the London Wine Experience, will return to London’s Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea for the third year running this October.
The event is organised by two of France’s most respected wine critics, who have a combined knowledge which is unsurpassable of many in their field. The event will take place on the 24 and 25 of October, and will offer participants the chance to meet producers and taste wines from all over the world. France, Greece, Italy, Argentina, Lebanon and Spain will all be contributing to the event with some of their finest wines on offer at the moment.
There will also be a special ‘prestige’ masterclass, which will be hosted by winemakers and trade experts. One of the classes will be a concise overview of Château Latour, and participants will be able to sample a number of the famous wines in the hands of some of the world’s most knowledgeable sommeliers.
An excusive tasting of wines will form part of the second edition of the Wine Premiere Awards, which will also take place at the event. Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve will be selecting the wines, which will then be judged by an international jury of wine experts.
During the event everyone from sommeliers to casual wine lovers will be able to not only rake part in this exciting challenge, but also try their hand at grading the wine. The results will be presented at the end of the event in a dedicated room at the Saatchi Gallery.
