Ah the 1980’s, bad hair, bad clothes and amazing music. Fortunately for us there were also the amazing drinks and specifically cocktails, nothing said ‘sophisticated yuppie’ like propping up the bar of a city nightclub with a Long Island Iced Tea and a Filofax. It’s hard to pin down exactly where and when a cocktail originated but mention 1980’s drinks and these are the ones that spring to mind.
