Spanish Rose Wines

Spanish rosé has always played an important role in the rosé world, and this is only increasing as the pink plonk continues to grow in popularity and sales are surging. It’s no surprise then that the Spanish themselves are the world’s greatest consumers of rosé. They certainly know how to make and drink it. Taking Spain’s large selection of wines into account along with the compelling pricing for so many of them, trying to produce more rosé is the obvious conclusion. Given the country's wide selection of wines and the really compelling pricing for so many of them, it seems like an obvious conclusion. What may be surprising to many people, though, is the sheer number of Spanish rosés and the range of regions and styles.
