Flavoured Wines

Flavoured wines are becoming more and more popular, and in France they drink more than 15 million bottles of flavoured wine per year, with figures expected to double in the coming year. Although the idea of adding flavour to a wine may seem like an abomination to some wine snobs, you really can’t knock it until you’ve tried it. Although all wine is intrinsically fruit flavoured as it is made from grapes, flavoured wines are a combination of distinct tastes, which compliment the already existing fruity undertones of wine. Rosé with hints of grapefruit as well as ginger wines are becoming increasingly popular.
